TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to The Humble Crumble! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. DELIVERY SERVICE
We offer local delivery service exclusively to Calgary and designated surrounding areas for a flat fee of $15.00 per order.
Delivery Schedule:
- Calgary, Chestermere, Okotoks: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- Airdrie, Cochrane, Cremona, Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Carstairs, Crossfield: Thursdays only
Order Cutoff: Friday at 9:00 PM
- Orders placed by Friday 9:00 PM will be delivered the following week
- Orders placed after Friday 9:00 PM will be delivered the week after
2. DELIVERY METHOD
All deliveries are contactless. We will:
- Deliver your order to the address provided at checkout
- Place the package at your front door or specified safe location
- Take a photographic confirmation of the delivery
- Send you a notification with the delivery photo confirming your order has arrived
3. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
At checkout, you must provide:
- Accurate delivery address
- Specification of whether you are in Calgary or a surrounding area
- Preferred delivery day (Tuesday or Wednesday for Calgary; Thursday for surrounding areas)
- Any special delivery instructions
You agree to:
- Retrieve your order promptly upon receiving delivery notification
- Ensure someone is available to bring the product inside in a timely manner
- Understand that our products are perishable and require proper storage
4. LIABILITY & RISK OF LOSS
Transfer of Responsibility: Once your order has been delivered and photographed at the address you provided, all responsibility and risk of loss transfers to you.
We are NOT liable for:
- Products that melt, spoil, or are affected by weather conditions after delivery
- Theft, tampering, or damage occurring after delivery confirmation
- Product quality issues resulting from delayed retrieval after delivery
- Deliveries to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Animal interference or other external factors after delivery
Product Care: Our products are perishable and temperature-sensitive. We package items with care to maintain quality during delivery, but we cannot guarantee product condition if not retrieved promptly.
5. DELIVERY AREA & CANCELLATIONS
We deliver to Calgary and the following surrounding areas: Chestermere, Okotoks, Cochrane, Cremona, Sundre, Olds, Didsbury, Carstairs, Crossfield, and Airdrie.
Calgary, Okotoks, and Chestermere customers must specify their preferred delivery day (Tuesday or Wednesday) in their order notes.
We reserve the right to:
- Cancel or refuse orders outside our designated delivery zones
- Reschedule deliveries due to severe weather, vehicle issues, or unforeseen circumstances
- Modify delivery schedules with advance notice to customers
6. REFUNDS & RETURNS
Due to the perishable nature of our products:
- All sales are final once delivered
- Refunds or replacements are only available for products damaged during delivery or incorrect orders
- Claims must be reported within 2 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
- No refunds will be issued for products not retrieved promptly or affected by conditions after delivery
7. PRODUCT QUALITY
We take pride in our products and package them with care. However:
- Products are baked fresh and are perishable
- Shelf life and storage instructions will be provided with your order
- We are not responsible for product quality after delivery confirmation
8. PRIVACY & PHOTO DOCUMENTATION
Delivery confirmation photos are taken for proof of delivery and may be stored for our records. These photos will only be used for order fulfillment purposes and will not be shared publicly without your consent.
9. PAYMENT
Payment is required at the time of order via Paypal, Shop, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard etc). The $15 delivery fee is non-refundable once your order has been dispatched for delivery.
10. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
